1. Introduction
Tripsetta LLC ("we," "us," or "our") provides an all-in-one travel operating system. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Tripsetta mobile app and website.
2. Data Collection
- Account Data: We collect your name, email, and phone number to create your profile.
- Travel Data: We collect itineraries, booking confirmations, and documents you upload to provide the "Travel Suitcase" and "Auto-Capture" features.
- Agent Data: For Travel Agents, we collect CRM data regarding your clients to facilitate your professional workflow.
- Location Data: We may collect location data to provide real-time visa/health requirements via our partner, Sherpa.
3. Data Usage
We use your data to:
- Sync itineraries between devices and between Agents and Travelers.
- Power our AI travel assistants.
- Process payments via secure third-party processors (Apple/Stripe).
- Improve app performance and security.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Your linked Travel Agent (if you use a connection code).
- Essential service providers (Google Cloud for hosting, Sherpa for visa info, Firebase for analytics).
- Third-Party AI Providers: To power our AI travel assistants and personalized recommendations, we may share certain data—such as travel itineraries, destination preferences, and queries you submit—with third-party artificial intelligence service providers. In particular, we use Anthropic (maker of the Claude AI model) as a data processor to help generate travel recommendations, answer your travel-related questions, and assist with itinerary planning. Anthropic processes your data solely on our behalf and in accordance with its data processing agreements, and does not use your data to train its AI models. Other AI service providers we engage are similarly contractually prohibited from using your data for their own purposes. We select AI partners that maintain appropriate data security and privacy standards.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
You may request data deletion at any time by contacting support@tripsetta.com or using the "Delete Account" feature in the app settings.
